## Who Is Dr. J Rodriguez?

Dr. Jose "Dr. J" Rodriguez (full name: Jose G. Rodriguez) is the founder of Troika Ministries — pastor, author, leadership scholar, and mindset coach. He holds a PhD in Leadership Studies (Our Lady of the Lake University), an M.Div. (Regent University), and a B.A. in English/Creative Writing (University of Texas at San Antonio). He has served in ministry for 28+ years as lead pastor, church planter, and formation coach. He and his wife Ruby have been in ministry together their entire married life (married March 14, 1998). In March 2025 he relocated to McKinney, Texas to build Troika Ministries full-time in obedience to the Holy Spirit. His salvation date: June 13, 1996. U.S. Navy veteran — USS South Carolina (CGN-37), Operation Desert Shield / Desert Storm (1990–1991).

## The ABC Leadership Model (Canonical Framework)

The Troika Leadership Model integrates three co-equal, concurrent, inseparable dimensions of whole leadership. Rooted in Galatians 5:22–23 (Fruit of the Spirit). The metaphor is the Russian troika — a three-horse harness where no horse pulls alone.

### A — Attitude (Inner Posture)
Fruit: Love, Joy, Peace | Greek: Agape, Chara, Eirēnē
Attitude governs how leaders interpret reality before they respond to it. Not mood — the deep conviction beneath every reaction. Attitude shapes CLIMATE (immediate atmosphere).

### B — Behavior (Visible Practice)
Fruit: Patience, Kindness, Goodness | Greek: Makrothumia, Chrēstotēs, Agathōsunē
The consistent daily practices through which leadership is experienced. Behavior shapes CULTURE (what forms over time).

### C — Character (Moral Foundation)
Fruit: Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-Control | Greek: Pistis, Prautēs, Enkrateia
The proven fruit of Attitude and Behavior sustained through trial. What Scripture calls dokimé (Romans 5:3–4) — proven, tested, approved. Never declared. Recognized. Character shapes CREDIBILITY (across seasons).

**Core principle:** "Leadership is not sustained by performance alone. It is sustained by an integrated life."

## Formation Pathway (10 Stages)

Death → Curiosity → Conviction → Repentance → Belief → Obedience → Abiding → Fruitfulness → Leadership → Multiplication
