Delete Your Troika Account

Troika Ministries (developer of the Troika app on iOS and Android) honors every request to delete your account and the formation data held with it. This page explains how to make the request and what happens when you do.

How to request deletion

Send an email to info@troikaministries.org with the subject line "Delete My Troika Account" and include the email address you used to sign in to the app.

If you want, you can also add a sentence about your time with us — we read every note. It is not required.

You will receive a confirmation reply within 3 business days confirming the request was received. Deletion completes within 30 days of confirmation.

What is deleted

Your name, email address, phone number, and profile photo
Your Clerk authentication record (account credentials)
Your Troika Score / LIA assessment answers and results
Your Memorial Stones and formation pathway entries
Your Shepherd conversation history
Your reflections, journal entries, and Rule of Life
Your accountability partner data and mentor/mentee snapshots
Your KFA portfolio and church journal records
Your push notification tokens and device identifiers
Your email subscription to any Troika lists (you are unsubscribed at the same time)

What is kept (and why)

Some records must be retained for legal, financial, or covenant reasons even after your account is deleted:

Donation and tax-receipt records — retained for 7 years per IRS 501(c)(3) requirements for our charitable status (EIN 30-0202549).
Payment transaction records — retained by our payment processor (Stripe) according to their data retention policy and applicable financial regulations.
Anonymized aggregate research data — if you participated in formation research, your data may have already been aggregated into de-identified studies that cannot be individually withdrawn. All such data is stripped of personal identifiers before aggregation.

Pastoral note

You are welcome to leave the house. You are also welcome to come back later — but if you do, you will return as a new entry; we do not retain past formation data once deletion is complete. The door is always open; the records simply start fresh.
