Privacy Policy

Account Information: When you create an account on TaMOS, we collect your name, email address, and profile information provided through Clerk (our authentication provider).

Phone Number (SMS): If you opt in to our SMS program, we collect your mobile phone number solely to send formation text messages. Your number is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Formation Data: Information you voluntarily provide through assessments (such as the Troika Score), reflections, prayer requests, and spiritual records within TaMOS. This data belongs to you.

Payment Information: If you purchase a course through Troika Leadership Seminary, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. Stripe's Privacy Policy governs their handling of payment data.

Usage Data: Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) may be collected by our hosting provider (Render). We do not use third-party analytics trackers on our formation platform.

Program Description: Troika Ministries operates an SMS messaging program to send formation reminders, daily Scripture, and encouragement to opted-in members of the TaMOS platform.

Opt-In: By providing your mobile phone number and tapping "Turn on" in TaMOS, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Troika Ministries at the phone number you provide. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service.

Message Frequency: Approximately 1–3 messages per week. Message frequency may vary based on formation season.

Message & Data Rates: Msg & data rates may apply. Check with your carrier for details.

Opt-Out: Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. You may re-subscribe at any time through TaMOS.

Carrier Disclaimer: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS service is provided through Twilio.

Supported Carriers: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and other major U.S. carriers.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve TaMOS and troikaministries.org
• Send formation SMS messages you have opted in to receive
• Process course enrollments and transactions
• Personalize your formation experience through the Covenant Guide (AI Shepherd)
• Communicate with you about ministry updates (only with your consent)
• Fulfill our 501(c)(3) formation mission

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

Your data is stored on secure infrastructure through our providers (Neon PostgreSQL, Clerk, Render). We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss.

Formation data (reflections, spiritual records, conversation history) is private by default. No formation data is shared publicly or with other users without your explicit consent.

We use the following third-party providers. Their own privacy policies govern their data practices:

• Clerk (clerk.com) — authentication and user identity
• Stripe (stripe.com) — payment processing
• Twilio (twilio.com) — SMS message delivery
• Render (render.com) — hosting infrastructure
• Neon (neon.tech) — database storage
• Anthropic / Claude (anthropic.com) — AI Shepherd (Covenant Guide) — conversation content is processed to generate responses. Review Anthropic's privacy policy for their data handling practices.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP
• Withdraw consent for data processing where consent is the legal basis
